America’s Top 10 Colleges And Universities Where The Most Alumni Donate
With an average of 59.1% of alumni donating in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years, Princeton University stands at the top. Of the ten colleges and universities listed below, the average 2-year alumni giving rate is 49.8%.
With an increase of 14.5% over 2016, alumni donated more than $11.37 billion to their alma maters in 2017, according to the Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey, conducted annually by the Council for Aid to Education (CAE).
The Council for Aid to Education also found that of the $43.6 billion in total contributions to higher education in 2017, 26.1% came from alumni (the second-largest source of support).
